Little Sips of Heaven — Lemonade and Boba
FAQ

Questions we get asked a lot.

Everything about how pop-ups work, how catering works, and what happens on the day of your event.

Do you do pop-ups, catering, or both?

Both, and they're genuinely two different services. Pop-ups are public: we set up a booth at vendor events, craft fairs, festivals, and markets around Fort Wayne, and anyone can walk up and buy a drink. Catering is private: you hire us for your wedding, shower, party, or corporate event and we bring the full station to your venue.

If you're planning an event, you want catering. If you just want to try our drinks, come find us at a pop-up.

How much does boba catering cost?

Our boba bar is priced per guest with a 100-guest minimum. The Classic Package is $16 per guest and includes two handcrafted flavors from our milk tea, coffee, or fruit tea selections. The Signature Package is $18 per guest and includes three to four flavors, matcha selections made with ceremonial grade matcha from Japan, and premium cream tops.

Both use organic ingredients and include our premium boba bar setup with full-service setup and breakdown. Because of the 100-guest minimum, the smallest boba booking is $1,600 for the Classic or $1,800 for the Signature. Lemonade and cream soda bars are quoted separately — just ask.

How far in advance should I book catering?

As early as you can. Weekends from May through October book out fast, especially wedding dates. If you have a date in mind, reach out even if the details aren't settled — a 50% retainer holds the date and we can build the menu later. For last-minute dates, just ask; if the calendar is open we'll try to make it work.

What areas do you serve?

Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana. Travel within 30 miles of Fort Wayne is included in our catering packages, and we're glad to go farther — anything beyond that radius is quoted based on your venue location. Well outside the area? Ask anyway and we'll take a look.

Do you serve alcohol?

Little Sips of Heaven itself is a non-alcoholic beverage service, and that's how we operate at every public pop-up and family event.

For 21+ private events, boozy lemonades are available through our sister brand, Buzz'd Mobile Bar, which handles all alcohol service with licensed, insured bartenders. Both brands are owned by Kayla E LLC, so booking both is one conversation.

Can we book Little Sips and Buzz'd for the same event?

Yes, and it's our favorite way to work an event. Buzz'd handles the bar for the adults, Little Sips handles lemonade, boba, and sodas for everybody else. Same owner, one point of contact, one setup crew, one coordinated timeline. Mention it when you reach out and we'll quote both together.

How many drinks do you serve per hour?

Roughly 40–60 drinks per hour per attendant, depending on the menu. Sodas are fastest, boba is slowest because each cup is built to order. If your whole guest list is going to hit the table at once — right after a ceremony, for instance — tell us and we'll staff up so nobody stands in line.

What do you need from our venue?

A 10-foot table space (indoors or under cover), access to load in about 90 minutes before service, and parking reasonably close by. Power is helpful but not required — we can run completely self-contained. If your venue has rules about vendors, send them over and we'll handle the paperwork.

Do you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?

Yes. All lemonades and sodas can be made dairy-free. For catering bookings, boba can be made with oat or whole milk on request. Tapioca pearls are gluten-free. We label allergens on the menu board at every event. Tell us about any restrictions when you book and we'll plan the station around them.

Can we get custom cups or signage?

Yes. Custom printed cups with your names, date, or logo need about three weeks of lead time. Custom framed menu signage matched to your event colors is also available. Both are quoted as add-ons alongside your package — mention them in your inquiry and we'll include them. They look great in photos, which is usually the reason people ask.

What's your cancellation policy?

The 50% retainer is due at booking and is non-refundable, since holding your date means turning down others. Full payment is due 60 days before the event. If you cancel more than 30 days before your event, any payment beyond the retainer is refunded in full. Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable. If you need to move your date rather than cancel, reach out — we'll do what we can.

Do you do outdoor events in bad weather?

We work rain or shine as long as there's a safe covered space for the station. If severe weather makes the event unsafe, we'll work with you on rescheduling. We can't operate a station in standing water, lightning, or sustained high wind.

Can you be a vendor at our market or festival?

Absolutely — we're actively looking for good pop-up dates. Send us your event date, expected attendance, booth fee structure, and whether power is available, and we'll get back to you quickly.

Still have a question?

Send it over. We answer everything, usually the same day.
